Garegin Harutyunyan Scholarship is established by ArMA members and staff to commemorate the one of the co-founders and leaders of the Armenian Medical Association tragically deceased in July 2003. The aim of this scholarship is to support one senior medical student of the Yerevan State Medical University for one academic year. Scholarship will be awarded to a bright individual with potential leader abilities, interest in research and motivation in professional development.

Amount offered: 30.000 AMD monthly, for one year since January.

Requirements:
1. Only senior student (pre-graduate course student: 5-th course of General and Military Medicine faculties and 4-th course of Pharmaceutical and Stomatological faculties) of Yerevan State Medical University can apply.
2. Good or excellent academic advance.
3. Interest in research. Research publications/presentations are big plus.
4. Professional affiliation(s) (association membership, professional honors, etc).
5. Foreign languages are not required, but plus.

How to apply:

No specific application form is available. All interested students will be required to submit following documents to the ArMA office in Yerevan.

1. CV/Resume.
2. Motivation letter.
3. Complete list of published research papers and presentations.
4. A reference letter from a professional Association or Society.
5. Any other document, diploma, statement that may prove your interest and motivation in professional development.

Application Deadline: 22th of December.

All shortlisted candidates will be required to take an interview with selection committee before 24th December.
