1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. Armenian Medical Association (hereinafter referred to as Association) is a voluntary, independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization. It is established in conformity with the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia (RA), Field Legislation and the following Bylaws. The Association follows the principles of legitimacy, equality, publicity, voluntary membership, conscience and justice.

1.2. The Association works in the RA and in foreign countries in accordance with their Legislations.

1.3. The Association may collaborate with governmental and non-governmental unions and organizations, international and donor organizations, funds, individuals etc.

1.5. The Association is named as: “Armenian Medical Association”, Non-Governmental Organization in English.

2. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

2.1. The main aims of the Association are to promote and advance medical science, practical medicine and public health; contribute to the establishment of a Health Care System in accordance with modern standards in Armenia and the foundation of civil society.
